Steel Shot

Steel shot is a spherical cast steel abrasive used in wheelblast machines for cleaning, descaling, and shot peening applications. Its round shape delivers a hammering action that cleans surfaces efficiently while producing a smoother, more rounded surface profile than angular media.

Available in sizes from S070 (fine) through to S780 (coarse), and in multiple hardness grades. Steel shot is the standard media for general purpose cleaning in tumblast, spinner hanger, and table machines. For peening, its controlled roundness delivers repeatable Almen intensities.
