Steel grit is an angular cast steel abrasive that delivers aggressive cutting action for profiling, heavy descaling, and fast material removal. Its sharp, fractured edges bite into the surface to create the anchor profile needed for coating adhesion.

Available from G10 (very coarse) to G120 (fine), steel grit is the go-to media for creating a defined surface profile quickly. Widely used in roller conveyor machines for plate preparation and in tumblast machines for heavy castings.
